BONNIE:
1926 Hupmobile Model A
4-door
sedan
Brothers
Robert and Lois Hupp founded the Hupp Motor Car Company in 1909. Strong styling and build quality were synonymous with
Huppmobiles but despite this the Hupp Motor Car Company declared
bankruptcy in 1940.
The
Model A was produced between 1926 and 1929.
It is the car depicted on the back of the US
ten-dollar note, in front of the U.S. Treasury building.
This
was the first Hupmobile to have a 6-cyclinder engine.
Our
1926 Hupmobile 4-door sedan is in ivory with wood spoke wheels.
We
named our Model A after Bonnie Parker who was part of the gang that was
portrayed in the 1967 movie “Bonnie and Clyde”.
Did
you know that in the year this vehicle was built:
-
John
